Technojaan Infocom. Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones were
launched by the Chinese manufacturer xiaomi at an event in Beijing. The smartphones bear similar designs and some
common specifications, however, there are some prominent differences, from screen size
to the choice of processor being used. The highlight features of the Redmi 5 and
Redmi 5 Plus include the use of an 18:9 display aspect ratio, giving an immersive wide-screen
effect that according to Xiaomi is better for gaming and media consumption, apart from
this a soft-toned selfie light for improved low-light photography. Both the Redmi 5 series smartphones were launched
for the China market, and for now there is no information of when they will be made available
in other countries. The Redmi 5 have 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 display
with a 282ppi pixel density and while the Redmi 5 Plus have 5.99-inch full-HD+ 18:9
display with a 403ppi pixel density. Redmi 5 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon
450 SoC clocked at up to 1.8GHz, while the Redmi 5 plus is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon
625 SoC clocked at up 2GHz. RAM options on the Redmi 5 are 2GB and 3GB,
whereas the Redmi 5 Plus offers 3GB and 4GB options. Both MIUI 9 smartphones bear the same cameras. The Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus offer a 12-megapixel
rear camera with 5-megapixel front camera. Xiaomi Redmi 5 price is 799 yuan (roughly
Rs. 7,800) and Redmi 5 plus price is 999 yuan (roughly Rs. 9,700). Idea has revised its Rs. 198 plans to give
customers more data without charging them anything extra in another move to target Jio. The plans have been updated only in Gujarat,
and Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles, and now offer 50 percent more data. The plan was launched with 1GB of bundled
data in October, and the limit has now been upgraded to 1.5GB. To be clear, the 1.5GB data allocation is
for the whole 28-day validity period, not per day. Those buying the recharge from the Idea website
or My Idea app will get 1GB of extra data from the company, raising the total bundled
data to 2.5GB. Huawei Nova 2s was launched at an event held
in China. It’s a mid-range smartphone from Huawei’s
which offering 6GB RAM. It also bears a 6-inch 18:9 bezel-less display,
and packed with four cameras. Dual Front selfie camera and Dual rear camera. It has a 6-inch full-HD+ display with a pixel
density of 402ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Kirin
960 processor coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. dual camera setup on the rear with a 16-megapixel
and 20-megapixel. On the front, the Nova 2s comes with a wide-angle
20-megapixel lens and another 2-megapixel camera for portrait selfies. the Huawei Nova 2s has 128GB of inbuilt storage
and can be expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The Huawei Nova 2s will be offered in two
variants – 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM – price of 4GB RAM is 2,699 yuan (roughly Rs. 26,300)
