As anticipated, Samsung took to the stage
in New York this week to reveal its latest Note device. Launched in 2010, the first Galaxy Note helped
kickstart the phablet trend moving 10 million units worldwide. The Note 7 is the successor to 2015’s Note
5. The new Note maintains its predecessor’s
5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 quad HD display, while shrinking the phone’s overall size. Samsung has incorporated the Galaxy S7’s
design language, bringing the dual curved edge to the screen. The iconic S Pen stylus is small and more
versatile. It can capture apps and write underwater. Oh, did we mention the Note 7 is water resistant? Samsung has also bulked up security with new
secure folder for sensitive files and futuristic retina-scanning unlocking. The Note 7 is available for pre-order tomorrow. It will start shipping 19th.
