Fire damages Corbin plant

INVESTIGATION INTO A FIRE AT A SOUTHERN KENTUCKY PLANT… THAT SENT ‘MULTIPLE’ FIRE DEPARTMENTS TO THE SCENE. THE FIRE STARTED AROUND SIX-30 TONIGHT… AT “C-T-A ACOUSTICS” IN CORBIN. SHONDA SHARED THIS I- WITNESS PICTURE SHOWING SMOKE RISING FROM THE BUILDING… EARLIER TONIGHT. THIS IS VIDEO FROM THE SCENE JUST INTO OUR NEWSROOM. FIREFIGHTERS ARE ‘NOT’ LETTING US…. GET CLOSE TO THE PLANT. BUT THEY TELL US NO INJURIES HAVE BEEN REPORTED. C-T-A ACOUSTICS LEADERS SAY THE FIRE STARTED IN THE EXHAUST SYSTEM… OF ONE OF THEIR OVENS. THEY SAY, THE BUILDING WAS EVACUATED SAFELY.. AND FIREFIGHTERS WERE ABLE TO CONTAIN THE FIRE, AND MINIMIZE THE DAMAGE. C-T-A LEADERS SAY THEY DON’T EXPECT MAJOR DISRUPTIONS TO THEIR OPERATIONS.. AND THEY EXPECT ALL EMPLOYEES TO REPORT TO WORK AS SCHEDULED. YOU MAY REMEMBER BACK IN 2003… AN EXPLOSION AT THE OLD, C-T-A ACOUSTICS FACILITY IN CORBIN KILLED SEVEN PEOPLE.. AND INJURED DOZENS MORE. KEEP CHECKING WKYT-DOT-COM FOR UPDATES ON THIS FIRE. FOR ‘HOURS’… FAMILY, FRIENDS,
